Why Going Green Caught My Eye

The idea of going green caught my eye in a rather different way. When I think of people deciding to go green they think of getting a wind turbine that powers the whole house. Well, that's what I use to think until one day I found myself taking a leek in the business building at Southern Utah University. There I noticed in the men's restroom that for the urnals they are waterless. Above them it says that each waterless urnal saves over 40,000 gallons of water a year.

I once heard that some of your best thinking and ideas come while in the restroom. Ever since that moment going green has always stuck in my head. So when this class required that we come up with an idea to blog about I thought Going Green was the way to go.
